We all know that artists' schedules can be very turbulent. Things happen, after all. But, sometimes these abrupt changes can really throw everyone for the loop. And that's what happened when a very major singer apologized to fans after axing her nationwide tour.
As reported by the Daily Mail, Meghan Trainor has cancelled her Get In Girl Tour. Her tour was planned to start in just two months - and it was a nationwide affair. If you somehow aren't sure of just who Meghan Trainor is, think "All About That Bass", or the TikTok-famous "Mother" that goes "I am your mother / you listen to me".
Trainor had some pretty serious reasons for cancelling the tour. She released a post on social media explaining and apologizing to her fans. "Balancing the release of a new album, preparing for a nationwide tour, and welcoming our new baby girl to our growing family of five has just been more than I can take on right now, and I need to be home and present for each and all of them at this time."
That's a pretty fair reason, if you ask me. Any parent would take the wellbeing of their kids as their number one concern, right? But, this wasn't a decision Meghan Trainor made lightly.

She also acknowledged that it might be bad for her fans. "I know this wil come as a disappointment to my fans, and I am so sorry to let you down. But I know this is the right decision for my family and me right now."
She added that she will "be back soon". She also said that she's "endlessly grateful for your love and support always."
Meghan Trainor even managed to tie in the release of her new album into the cancellation announcement. She said, "I can't wait for you to hear this new record. I'm so proud of it."
If you aren't aware, Meghan Trainor has a new album in the works. It's called Toy With Me. Two singles have been released from the album according to her website, accompanied by admittedly whimsical and eccentric music videos.
