The mother went missing while running errands in her local neighborhood. Since then, her family, friends, and local law enforcement have been on the hunt. According to her family, she would never just up and leave. She is a devoted mother and a caring family member.

Since her disappearance, her ex-boyfriend has been arrested on suspicion of murder. Police are now searching through trash to find some shred of evidence of the missing mother.

Investigators have recovered a dumpster from Pine Tree Acres and were searching through it for six hours, looking for something. "I know that they're searching for the body, and so we're a little nervous about that. Hoping that whatever they do find, they find it sooner rather than later," her uncle stated.

The situation must be awful for her family. They are left wondering what will turn up and where.

Ex-Boyfriend Of Missing Mother Is Highly Suspect

The ex-boyfriend of Ashley Elkins is currently being held in relation to the missing mother. He is being charged with lying to the police His behavior has been in line with someone on the run. According to the report, his search history included what to do while on the run, how to beat a polygraph test, and if blood is traceable.

These searches, reported by Fox News, don't bode well for the man. He was caught while allegedly fleeing to Flint, looking to escape to Ohio.

Since the mother went missing, a GoFundMe has been set up for the two sons of Elkins. In the short description, it states "her boys face not only the loss of their beloved mother, but also uncertainty about their care and their future."

This is a bleak outlook on the ongoing search. It sounds like they have already given up hope of the missing mother ever being found. As of the time of writing, the GoFundMe has raised $6000.
