Explosive new details have been released amid the suspension of Wheel of Fortune announcer Jim Thornton.

Thornton was suspended pending an investigation. Into a dispute he got into with a woman on a May 14th American Airlines flight. It was initially unclear what led to their dispute, but new details have since been revealed.
New Details About Wheel of Fortune Host's Incident Revealed
Photos obtained by TMZ, showed that he had been in a pedophilia chat room on his laptop.
"Went to Golden Corral with my dad and his wife yesterday. Cool hangout for kids. Saw a couple of cute boys and hot little girls," one of the messages in the photo obtained by the outlet read.
Another message replied to the message, referring to the restaurant at the "All-you-can-eat Boyfett."
The passenger said that upon realizing the contents of the chatroom, she took photos of Thornton. And showed them to the flight crew. Police met the Wheel of Fortune announcer at the gate.
Hart also penned a letter to Page Six and noted that her client being in the chatroom was a mistake. He also noted that he was looking for support for individuals who have suicidal ideation after losing a close family member.
"One of the sites my client has visited is 988lifeline.org, and its chat forum, chat.988lifeline.org. ... Through an acquaintance in the suicide prevention space, my client was misdirected to a forum with a similar URL, the forum lifeline. chat, which my client understood to be a forum offering suicide prevention support similar to 988lifeline.org and chat.988lifeline.org," Hart said to the outlet.
She also said that upon realizing what the chat room was about, he immediately exited the chat room.
"When my client understood what the website was about, he left the page and has not visited since," Hart said to the outlet. "The website lifeline. chat itself is not unlawful, there is no unlawful child pornography or other pedophilic content, and my client has never viewed, downloaded or consumed any child pornography, whether on that commercial flight in May or at any other time."
