Major New Details In Case Of Principal And Teacher Arrested Over Massive High School Party

Every year or so a party will make the headlines, with teens spilling out onto the streets and vomiting all over themselves. This year the biggest high school party so far has seen a teacher and a principal held responsible for the revelry, but new details say they were never even there.

Following the massive high school party in Cocoa Beach, Florida, police arrested Principal Elizabeth Hill-Brodigan and Teacher Karly Anderson. They were being charged with child neglect and contributing to the delinquency of a minor. The principal was charged with hosting the party.

However, it transpires that the pair were unaware of the situation until after it had already kicked off. The two of them were out having dinner as her son organized the high school party. It was only after she received a call that she realized it was happening.

Anderson's lawyer Kenneth Weaver states "'My client didn't know anything about it, didn't provide any alcohol, didn't drink with children, didn't see a party, didn't see alcohol." According to the lawyer, there is CCTV footage of them at a nearby restaurant. They are seen to be there before the party kicked off, and during.

Continuing, he stated that they returned to break up the high school party. "'My client went with her just to support her friend. I suspect they thought they'd go home, yell at some kids, and go back out... but it didn't work out that way," he said.

Contradicting Reports From High School Party Goers

The party was a wild one, with kids throwing up, some driving home drunk, and many of them escaping into local gardens and a golf course. The whole thing sounds like something for the history books, but they're really dropping the two teachers in it.

The reports from some of the kids at the high school party say they helped organize it all. Some of the kids at the event say Hill-Brodigan, the house owner, knew about it and was at the party. They say she seemed fine about the whole thing and helped put it together.

However, the lawyer denies any of these allegations, and claims he has the proof too. Hopefully, they can clear the allegations and get their jobs back at the local school.
