Your favorite HGTV show, Fixer Upper, might be ending, but you certainly won't be seeing the last of Chip and Joanna Gaines, especially in your own home. From the launch of their Target line (we can't wait to see the spring collection!) to the announcement of Joanna's new cookbook, Magnolia Table, it's clear that everyone's favorite Texas family will be in our homes in way or another. Joanna Gaines finally shared a first look at the cover of the her new cookbook, and it is exactly as you'd imagine: light, airy, and cozy.
The star posted the cover on Instagram with the caption: "I finally get to share my new cookbook, Magnolia Table with you all! It will officially be out April 24, 2018 just in time for Mother's Day, but you can order it in advance today should you want to gift a pre-order this holiday season or if you want to ensure you get one hot off the press!"
She shared a few of her go-to recipes on her blog, Magnolia Market, in addition to the cover photo on Instagram, and they sound incredible!
As she wrote on her blog, "You probably realize that Magnolia Table is also the name of our restaurant, which opens in the Spring of 2018. It's safe to say that with recipe testing for the restaurant and the cookbook, I've definitely not gone hungry." The Waco restaurant, formerly known as Elite Cafe, is undergoing a renovation just down the street from the Silos, the Gaines' property that features their bakery, Silos Baking Co., and a lawn where they hold events.

Here are some of the delicious recipes you can expect to find inside.
1. Green Beans Amandine
With five minutes of prep time and about eight minutes of cooking time, this easy side dish recipe looks so tasty, it could convert even the most anti-green bean eater!
2. Becki's Mac and Cheese
What would a cookbook be without a delicious macaroni and cheese recipe? This little beauty can be served in individual cocottes or casserole-style for a cheesy dream any time you crave it.
3. Scalloped Potatoes
A good scalloped potatoes recipe is worth its weight in gold, and after perusing the ingredient list here, it's made even better by Gruyère cheese instead of your regular cheddar.
Now, I can only hope that there are few Gaines family recipes, like homemade biscuits and homemade pies. The post also reveals a recipe for a Spiced Pecan Pie that sounds so delicious. Also, I think I need a Joanna-approved recipe for Southern-style Eggs Benedict fit for a breakfast joint. All things considered, it won't be hard to find a great meal in the cookbook, like the homemade mac.
Judging by the classic comfort selections in Joanna's bakery and what we know about the new restaurant from social media, it seems as though the book will be full of recipes fit for Sunday brunches, with classic recipes and beautiful photos. After all, who doesn't want part of a downtown Waco treasure in their own kitchen?
