Paul Kueker, 51, died following a fall during a Goose concert at Madison Square Garden on June 20.
Kueker fell head-first from the arena's 300-level section while attending the show with his wife as they celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary.
Concert Death Officially Ruled an Accident
Officials determined that Kueker, who lived in Connecticut, died from "multiple blunt impact injuries".
The 51-year-old reportedly fell over a four-foot-high glass barrier shortly before 10 p.m. on the night of the concert.
Authorities stated that Kueker "appeared intoxicated" and "under the influence" before the fatal fall.
"His head was like a foot to the left of my shoes," said a shocked witness. "Within a few seconds, I was standing in blood."
Several concertgoers were struck as Kueker fell and suffered minor injuries.
"That's why I'm trying to figure out what hit me, and my friend was one seat further away and got hit by something, so I want to figure out what that was, too," another witness said.
Tributes and Donations Follow Madison Square Garden Tragedy
Previous reports stated that Kueker's fall occurred during an intermission, when an estimated 25 to 50 percent of concertgoers were in their seats.
Kueker worked as Senior Director of Operations for energy management company Smartcon Solutions.
William Brown, the company's general manager, said that "Paul meant the world to everyone at Smartcon."
"He was an extraordinary person and a valued member of our team, and the loss is felt deeply across our entire company. Our thoughts are with his family and loved ones during this incredibly difficult time. He will be profoundly missed."
Following the tragedy, Goose began selling a "Big Love" T-shirt online, with all proceeds going toward a GoFundMe fundraiser established by Kueker's family.
The fundraiser has collected more than $85,000 toward its $100,000 goal.
According to the fundraiser, donations will help cover funeral and memorial expenses. As well as easing "some of the financial burden during this difficult time."
In an update posted on June 24, Kueker's family said their "immediate needs have been taken care of".
The family also expressed its gratitude for the outpouring of support and donations.
"It means a lot to us," the post concluded.
