Maddie & Tae just created a new music video for their 2015 single "Fly", with a little help from the children of Nashville's Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt.
The new video, which was uploaded to the duo's YouTube page on Jan. 22, shows Maddie Marlow & Tae Dye spending some quality time with the hospital's patients, which included performing and taking selfies with the youngsters.
"Seeing the light and joy in the eyes of the patients we were able to sing and play with would brighten anyone's day," Dye said in a statement of the country twosome's new video. "Knowing people find something encouraging in this music is the greatest gift we can be given."
The "Girl In A Country Song" singers are both artist ambassadors for the Children's Hospital's and Nashville Predators joint 'Shine Bright' campaign, which aims to help and offer support to both patients and their families.
"Supporting the 'Shine Bright' campaign, especially interacting with the patients and caregivers at Children's Hospital has been one of the most rewarding things we've done," Marlow said. "Knowing this special version of "Fly" will also encourage people to write letters of support is the icing on the cake."
