Luke Combs Shares Title Track, Track List for New Album 'What You See is What You Get'

In one fell swoop, Luke Combs unveiled the title track and track listing for sophomore album What You See is What You Get, out Nov. 8 via Columbia Nashville.

"I'm an easy read, but I ain't no open book" stands out among the contradictions listed in "What You See is What You Get." Combs' latest cut of common sense country music owns that you know what you're getting with a guy like him.

So far, his new album is just as predictable, but in a good way. The first five of 17 tracks come from Combs' The Prequel EP. These previously released songs includes one of the hits of the summer, "Beer Never Broke My Heart."

New songs on the Scott Moffatt-produced album include special guests Brooks & Dunn on "1, 2 Many" and a still-unheard Eric Church collaboration, "Does to Me."

What You See is What You Get is the follow-up to one of the most successful debut country albums in some time, 2017's multi-platinum smash This One's For You. Combs' prior album positioned him for Billboard chart success, sold-out tour dates, country airplay and an ongoing string of ACM and CMA award nominations.

At the 53rd annual CMA Awards broadcast on Nov. 13, Combs will vie for Male Vocalist of the Year, Song of the Year for the hit "Beautiful Crazy" and Musical Event of the Year for "Brand New Man," a prior Brooks & Dunn collaboration from the Hall of Fame duo's recent album Reboot.
