Luke Combs Gifts Tickets to Kids at Home State Children’s Hospital

Over a dozen patients at Atrium Health’s Levine Children’s Hospital in Charlotte, NC are World Tour bound.

Luke Combs gave back to kids in his home state by donating over a dozen concert tickets to patients at Atrium Health's Levine Children's Hospital in Charlotte, NC. The hospital distributed the tickets through Seacrest Studio, which is a partnership between Ryan Seacrest and Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tenn. The family of lucky recipient Gavin, who is recovering from a traumatic brain injury, chronicled the ticket reveal on TikTok.

Thank you @Luke Combs for tickets that were given to the Children’s Hospital. And to the studio for passing a pair along to Gavin and leaving him SPEECHLESS for the first time in a long time! ❤️ Gavin can’t wait to sing “Fast Cars”, “When it rains it pours” and “Beautiful Crazy” along with Luke and friends from Levines next Friday night! ❤️?? See you in Charlotte! ? #gavinstrong #tbisurvivor #LukeCombs #levineschildrenshospital #cltnc #bankofamericastadium #seacreststudios

The clip captures when a nurse shared the news with Gavin. The youngster couldn't hold back tears over the opportunity to attend one of country music's top stars' World Tour.

"Gavin requests a lot of awesome country songs. We jam out to country music," the nurse said in the video. "Okay, so, I hope next Friday you don't have any plans because we would love to send you to the Luke Combs concert."

Gavin's mother, Crystal Clampitt, added words of gratitude for Combs in the caption for her post, which has surpassed 300K views.

"Thank you [Combs] for tickets that were given to the Children's Hospital. And to the studio for passing a pair along to Gavin and leaving him speechless for the first time in a long time," she wrote. "Gavin can't wait to sing 'Fast Car,' 'When It Rains It Pours' and 'Beautiful Crazy' along with Luke and friends from Levines next Friday night! See you in Charlotte."

Tickets for Combs' show this Saturday (July 15) at Bank of America Stadium —the home of the NFL's Carolina Panthers— fetch no less than $100 on the secondary market, making the gift all the more generous.

Combs' ongoing World Tour spans three continents and 16 countries. The 35-city trek kicked off on March 25 in Arlington, Texas and will run through Oct. 19, 2023, when it wraps up in London.
