Luke Combs has had an incredible run since releasing his debut album This One's For You in 2017. The album, which featured "Hurricane," "When It Rains it Pours" and more, spawned five No. 1 hits on the Billboard Country Airplay charts. The powerhouse singer shows no signs of slowing down with his latest single "Beer Never Broke My Heart," which has all the markings of another hit.
"Beer Never Broke My Heart" is a rollicking honky-tonker about the many heartbreaks and uncertainties in this life, ranging from romantic failures to broken down trucks, and one reliable vice: beer.
"Longneck, ice cold beer never broke my heart/Like the diamond rings and football teams that tore this boy apart," Combs sings. "Like a neon dream, it just dawned on me, the bars and this guitar/ And longneck, ice cold beer never broke my heart."
On May 8, Combs released a video for the song, featuring a crowded bar filled with folks drowning their sorrows with the help of Combs. "Beer Never Broke My Heart" is the first release from Combs' upcoming sophomore album.

Combs recently won the ACM award for New Male Vocalist. The singer is currently on his Beer Never Broke My Heart Tour.
