In case the gag where Luke Bryan's wife Caroline slingshots a pair of black thong underwear at his face wasn't enough comedy ("'bout took my eye out with that dental floss!"), they're back with a second Jockey underwear commercial.
This time around, Luke can't keep his date night Jockey t-shirt clean. Between being a sloppy drinker and eater and the loving owner of a gigantic dog, Luke keeps having to wash one of Caroline Bryan's favorite shirts.
By the commercial's end, it turns out that fretting over the shirt was a waste because date night's tomorrow night.
The new underwear commercial is a sweet look into a country music power couple's relationship, even if they've been in a heated prank war throughout the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
In the past, Luke appeared in ads for Target, Cabela's and Chevrolet. As for the novelty of a country star advertising underwear, Blake Shelton did it first for Gildan.
Expect to see plenty of Luke Bryan on TV in the near future, between him promoting boxer briefs and undershirts, judging ABC's American Idol alongside Katy Perry and Lionel Richie and being a prominent performer and award nominee on CBS' broadcast of the Academy of Country Music Awards, which airs from Nashville for the first time on Sept. 16.
Luke's slated for a solo performance of his hit song "One Margarita."
Other performers at the ACM awards include Taylor Swift, Trisha Yearwood, Kane Brown and the duo of Shelton and Gwen Stefani. The show will open with Luke joined on stage by fellow Entertainer of the Year nominees Carrie Underwood, Thomas Rhett, Eric Church and Luke Combs.
Segments of the show will be broadcast from the Ryman Auditorium, the Grand Ole Opry House and the Bluebird Cafe.
