"My pilots, they understand now to get an order of Raising Cane's delivered to the plane," Bryan reveals at a media event. "And when you take the bread, the bread comes in its tray. You get the sauce, and it sits, and it rides in the car, and it gets all that steam on it. Just bread and tenders on the plane, flying to go do American Idol has become - my pilots know what to get.
"When you have to be on TV, you have to fight the urge to eat bread a lot of times," he adds. "But I'm always dipping the bread and the sauce. It's my splurge."
Bryan is a fan of Raising Cane's for more than just their food. The owner, Todd Graves, recently announced a commitment of donating $1,000,000 to the Brett Boyer Foundation. The nonprofit is in memory of Bryan's niece, Sadie Brett Boyer, who was seven months old when she passed away. Boyer had both a congenital heart defect and Down syndrome.
Luke Bryan's Commitment To Using His Celebrity Status For Good
Bryan might be one of the hardest working artists in country music, but he's also among the most generous. Bryan is determined that his sons, Bo and Tate, see their famous father using his celebrity status to make a difference in the world.
"I look at how my kids process what their dad is," Bryan says. "They are of the age that they know that their dad's a celebrity, and know that their dad has been blessed with success. But I think when they see that our family, they can tangibly see that we're making a difference by using our celebrity platform, I just hope that they can understand that that's really and truly what life is about.
"In our home, we try to teach manners and politeness and humility and hard work," he continues. "And obviously, having a charitable aspect to your heart and your soul, makes you the person we want them to be."
