The Georgia native is attributed with writing credits for most of his discography. However, fans have questioned if his latest song, "Fish Hunt Golf Drink," was generated by artificial intelligence.

During a round of golf at Muirfield Village on Wednesday as part of the Memorial Pro-Am, Luke Bryan set the record straight on the origins of his new single.

"We've had some negativity out there. Some trolls kinda saying that I "AI"-ed it. Which is completely false," Bryan said. "That song was designed for one thing. To have fun and to tell the world what I love to do. And what I strive to do."

Bryan, who recently began his Word on the Street tour, drew criticism for his latest single.

Although Bryan confirmed that "Fish Hunt Golf Drink" was not made with AI, the famous singer was not the author of the single.

Country stars Chase McGill and Matt Dragstrem wrote the hyper-criticized song.

Responding to the backlash that the single is AI-generated, the "Fish Hunt Golf Drink" writers told Rolling Stone that the creative process was entirely human.

"It's not rocket science, but it's true to who Luke is."

Artificial Intelligence Has Begun Invading the Music Industry

Luke Bryan is not the first artist to be accused of creating music with AI.

Shockingly, some music labels have already begun signing fully AI-generated "music artists."

According to Billboard, an AI singer named Xania Monet is "the first known AI artist to earn enough radio airplay to debut on a Billboard radio chart."

The AI-generated singer signed a multimillion-dollar record deal with Hallwood Media in 2025 after what Billboard described as "a bidding war."
