Dierks Bentley, Martina McBride and Sheryl Crow are confirmed to be taking part in an all-star tribute to country legend Loretta Lynn when she's named Artist of a Lifetime at the 2018 CMT Artists of the Year ceremony.
Sissy Spacek, who portrayed Lynn in the 1980 biopic Coal Miner's Daughter, will present the Artist of a Lifetime award to the "You Ain't Woman Enough" singer.
This year's Artists of the Year special celebrates women in country music. In addition to Lynn, the night will honor Carrie Underwood, Miranda Lambert, Maren Morris, Kelsea Ballerini, Little Big Town's Kimberly Schlapman and Karen Fairchild and Lady Antebellum's Hillary Scott.
The tribute to Lynn is just one part of the night's performances. The concert promises several collaborations between peers and legends.
Carrie Underwood will take the stage with her Cry Pretty 360 tourmates Runaway June and Maddie and Tae. The Pistol Annies, made up of Miranda Lambert, Angaleena Presley and Ashley Monroe, will perform new music from their upcoming album Interstate Gospel. Kelsea Ballerini will perform with Alison Krauss and Maren Morris and Brandi Carlile will share the stage for a tribute to Aretha Franklin. Gladys Knight will perform with Little Big Town and Lady Antebellum's Hillary Scott will the stage with Tori Kelly and gospel singer Kirk Franklin.
The CMT Artists of the Year special will air live from Nashville on Oct. 17 at 7 p.m. CT on CMT.
