Nathan Smith, the 28-year-old son of rapper Lil Jon, has been reported missing.

The police department in Milton, Georgia, a town about 30 miles north of downtown Atlanta, shared the missing person report on social media Tuesday, Feb. 3. It says he was last seen at 6 a.m. on Tuesday "in the vicinity of Baldwin Dr./Mayfield Rd. in Milton."
"Subject ran out of his house and has been missing since. Subject left on foot and does not possess a phone. He may be disoriented and in need of assistance. Family and friends are concerned for his safety," the statement reads.
The report describes Smith as 5 ft., 9 in. tall, with brown eyes and short black hair. He weighs 150 lbs. Anyone with information should call 678-297-6300 or email Detective Sarah Moore at [email protected].

Smith is also known as DJ Young Slade. His latest single, "Feels," came out in March 2025. He is the son of the "Throw It Up" rapper and his estranged wife, Nicole Smith. The couple was married for two decades until their "amicable split" in 2024.
He also appeared on the MTV show Family Legacy. As reported by PEOPLE, Smith loved growing up with his famous father.
"It's dope to appreciate my dad, show respect, and just look at all the things he's done, and it's nice to get the torch passed down and do my own thing," he said. "Because it's like it comes from him, but also I'm definitely taking it and making it my own."

In a statement, a rep for Lil Jon says, "The family is asking for privacy at this time."
It adds, "We are also asking for continued prayers for Nathan to come home safe. Thank you."
Lil Jon also has a daughter named Nahara with girlfriend, Jamila Sozahdah.
In addition to his solo career, Lil Jon has been a prolific producer and a pioneer of the hip-hop subgenre crunk. His 2013 song with DJ Snake, "Turn Down for What," has been certified 8X platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America.
