A legendary rock icon is ruling out another big tour in America. He called the United States a dangerous place right now.

Queen fans should probably stop refreshing their Ticketmaster. Because rock icon Brian May confirmed that the band is unlikely to tour in America anytime soon.
"America is a dangerous place at the moment, so you have to take that into account," May told The Daily Mail. "It's very sad because I feel like Queen grew up in America, and we love it, but it's not what it was. Everyone is thinking twice about going there at the moment."
May didn't elaborate on exactly why he thought the country was dangerous. But it's very easy to take his comments in a political lens. May is likely referring to the growing rifts due to politics in the country. Whatever May's reasoning, it's still a bummer for Queen fans.
Rock Icon Rules Out Tour
It's not unlike May to get political. He confirmed he would never perform at Glastonbury in the UK due to differences in political opinion.
"I wouldn't do Glastonbury next year because of the politics of the people who run it, unless that changes, I won't do it," he told the outlet. "They like killing badgers, and they think it's for sport, and that's something I cannot support because we've been trying to save these badgers for years, and they are still being killed for years, so that's the reason we're missing out on it."
The rock icon doesn't even know when Queen might take the stage again. At 78 years old, May is taking his health more seriously after having a minor stroke in 2024. But he confirmed the band will perform eventually. Since 2012, Queen has been performing with Adam Lambert as its lead singer in vocals.
May said, "I don't know when Queen will be back on stage - it's an unknown. We'll take it day by day. It was time to take a break and spend time with family, take stock. But never say never about not coming back, the rebuild of Queen Two is coming back, and there are a couple of things you haven't heard."
