Fans of two popular soft rock groups, Air Supply and Little River Band, must have been pretty upset to learn that their concert was called off just days before it was slated to happen. Per the New York Post, their show in Fresno, California, was scrubbed on August 4, two days before it was scheduled to take place. The event was going to be held at the Save Mart Center.

In a brief, not-too-explanatory post on Instagram, the venue stated, "Unfortunately, the event has been canceled by the event organizer. Refund information can be found in link in bio."
Fans Were Definitely Not Happy
Some of them vented in the comments section. A few suspected that weak ticket sales was the reason. Or maybe the price of the tickets. Who knows?
Wrote one, "Has to be low ticket sales,or they don't have oxygen tanks for them."
Another chimed in, "we just went a few weeks ago and there were a LOT of empty seats. In a small-ish venue."
Someone else groused, "At least people don't have to hear the abomination that passes for LRB these days."
"Ticket prices might have been a problem." guessed somebody.
"Bummer. My guess is low ticket sales"
There was some disagreement, however. "Never seen an Air Supply show with a lot of empty seats and they still bounce aeound the stage so y'all don't know what you are talkign about lol"
Air Supply Formed in 1975
The mellow duo of Graham Russell and Russell Hitchcock got together in 1975, per their web site. In fact, they marked the milestone with a show at Carnegie Hall in New York. Said Graham Russell, "We've never stopped believing in what we're doing and still love what we do and never take it for granted. There's still something very current in the messages of our songs. Our fans needed our music in their lives then and seem to need it even more now."
Their hits include "Lost in Love," "Even the Nights Are Better," "All Out of Love," "Every Woman in the World," and 'Sweet Dreams." The typically romantic content of their tracks never gets old.
