Following a fruitful career spanning seven decades, a Country music group announced that they are bidding farewell to touring.

The Gatlin Brothers — Larry, Steve and Rudy — recently announced their "Farewell Celebration Tour," according to Saving Country Music.
The Texas-born trio will celebrate 70 years of music in their final tour, the outlet reported.
"After much thought and prayer, we have decided that it's time to hit the turn signal, check the rearview mirror, pump the brakes, move over into the right lane, and look for the off-ramp," Larry Gatlin told Saving Country Music.
Thankfully for fans of the group, they still have over a year to enjoy live performances from the iconic singers.
"There is no 'hard date' for all of this. But we're thinking Mayish of '28. In the meantime, we'll be all over America to play and sing our songs for you wonderful people who have supported us for 71 years. Keep the Faith," Larry Gatlin concluded.
The Grammy Award-winning group has released 18 studio albums and boasts 33 Top 40 country singles.
The Country trio has produced several No. 1 hits, including "I Just Wish You Were Here," "I Don't Wanna Cry" and "All the Gold in California."
They were inducted into the Texas Cowboy Hall of Fame in 2016, receiving the Rodeo Spirit of Texas Award.
The Gatlin Brothers are not the only longtime act planning retirement from the stage.
Glady Knight, 82, announced in August that she was scaling back her live performance schedule amid health concerns.
"After much soul-searching, I've decided that I will be easing into fewer performances while focusing on transitioning into the next stage of my career and life moving forward," Knight said in a statement posted on Instagram. "I'll be spending more time on projects with my husband and visiting with my grandbabies. I am looking forward to this new era."
The Grammy-winning singer also thanked fans for "supporting her every step of the way" throughout a career spanning more than seven decades and "for making a little girl's dream come true."
"I am immensely grateful to all of you and send my eternal love back to you," she said. "I hope to see your smiling faces out and about and on the road. God bless all of you. Hope to see you soon."
