Days after Virginia Giuffre, Jeffrey Epstein's victim and accuser, died by suicide, Karrie Louden, Giuffre's lawyer since January, spoke about her client's death amid a myriad of conspiracy theories. In her own words, there were "no signs" that she was considering taking her own life.

Louden talked with the Daily Mail approximately four days after Giuffre died. After she found out about her death, Louden was, like many others in the world, shocked.
"When I got the phone call, I was like 'are you joking?' Because there was no signs that was something she was considering," Louden told the outlet. "If any of us had thought she's going to commit suicide, of course we would have taken more steps, put her into a clinic or got her some more help."
The news of Giuffre's passing was shared by her family in a statement, saying that Virginia Giuffre died by suicide "after being a lifelong victim of sexual abuse and sex trafficking."
"Virginia was a fierce warrior in the fight against sexual abuse and sex trafficking," the statement continued. "She was the light that lifted so many survivors. Despite all the adversity she faced in her life, she shone so bright. She will be missed beyond measure. The light of her life were her children Christian, Noah, and Emily."
No Speculation
Louden, while in shock, does not venture into speculation given the current discourse online fueled by Epstein's own controversial death, also by suicide. To many, Epstein's death is suspicious, to say the least. On top of that, a 2019 post on X made by Giuffre resurfaced following the news of her death. In the post, Giuffre said that "in no way, shape or form am I suicidal."
"It's inconclusive. I'm a defence lawyer and I don't like to speculate about things until the evidence is in [and] the evidence is not in," Louden said. "The police told me nothing, they didn't even confirm she was dead. It wasn't suspicious circumstances - it's suicide or misadventure."
Furthermore, Louden didn't see Virginia Giuffre in the room where she was found. While she wondered whether she had taken too many painkillers, given her recent visit to a hospital, Louden stated that she wasn't going to speculate whether her former client's death was a suicide or an accident.
"Given the recent activities, it's very likely that we will never know. The police were just very, very vague. I know that she's gone but how that happened, I don't know," Louden added.
According to her, it could take up to two years for a coroner's report to be filed in connection with her death.
Virginia Giuffre was notoriously recruited by Ghislaine Maxwell back when she was only 16 in 2000. She was trafficked and forced to have sex with Jeffrey Epstein and other clients. One of those clients, according to Giuffre, was Prince Andrew, who has always denied the accusations. Epstein died by suicide in 2019, Maxwell was sentenced to 20 years in prison in 2021. Andrew settled with Giuffre in 2022, two years after resigning from public roles in 2020.
This is just too coincidental. What was the actual cause of suicide? Over dose? gun fire? Were these officers working in the same section? Did they know each other? Does the Department have any mandatory mental stress programs required each year? I've delt with suicides (3) and mental health in my imediate family for 60 yrs.
There was a time when I lost my wife and seven children that suicide seemed an easy wat out. Being raised Catholic, suicide has a very fate "Hell". There is so much stress in the world right now especially in law enforcement, only God's love and prayer can keep hope alive. The access to human interactions is exposed on the internet everyday. The general public has no concept of the everyday pressure on police and victims of disrespect.
One of the females was found dead at her husband's grave, so I'm thinking her was grief over the loss of her husband. One of the male officer's spouse had just left him or in the process of it and the other two, I have no idea.
So many have gotten away from the love of God. If you trust him, you will never have to worry about what to do in a bad situation. Faith in God surpasses all understanding.
