During the season 12 semifinals of The Voice, contestants Lauren Duski and Brennley Brown teamed up to take on a Waylon Jennings and Willie Nelson classic.

The two female singers have been front-runners throughout the season, thanks to their charismatic takes on country tunes. So it only makes sense to pair them up for a lighthearted duet. While I'm not sure if "Good Hearted Woman" was the best choice for their voices, the duet showed off each performer's strengths and weaknesses.

Let's be real here. No one can supply a better version of this track than Willie and Waylon. But this performance isn't trying to topple the original. It's just meant to show viewers how each artist can approach the same song differently.

Brennley has the same spunky personality that helped RaeLynn sail through each round. Duski is more subdued and controlled, but her voice has a bit more power behind it. Although they compliment each other on stage, the public's votes will determine who will make it to the finals.
