Late NFL Star's Girlfriend Gives Birth 7 Months After His Death

She announced the news in a post on social media, which showed the moment she announced her pregnancy to the late NFL star.

The girlfriend of late NFL star Marshawn Kneeland has given birth over 7 months after his death. According to CBS News Texas, Mancera revealed the bittersweet news on social media.

She captioned the post "my favorite gift from you ? June 11th, 2026". The photos in the post included three photos of the baby, with one showing the baby in a patchwork featuring some of Kneeland's jersey.

There was also a video attached to the post, which showed the moment she announced her pregnancy to the NFL star.

Mancera had previously posted a picture of her with her bump, with a silhouette featuring her and the NFL star together. She captioned it, "Forever yours. Forever ours. ??"

The Cowboys' head coach, where Kneeland played as their defensive end, had established the Marshawn Kneeland Memorial Fund to support Mancera and her baby, who is named Makhai.

At a press conference on Tuesday, 16 June, head coach Brian Schottenheimer said the players felt "fired up and excited" about the baby's birth. He added, "When you're part of the family, you're family for life. And so we want to make sure we do a great job of looking out for her and baby Makhai."

Comments on the Post Showed Support to the NFL Star's Girlfriend

The official Dallas Cowboys account responded with three blue hearts to show their affection.

Supporters quickly reassured her that the NFL star was still there watching down over her and their son. One wrote, "Fathers watching over you, he will guide and be there for you", with another writing, "your daddy's greatest legacy. Welcome to the world my sweet baby??"

Family members and friends alike voiced their support in the comments, too. Mancera's sister wrote, "my cutie nephew!! your dad would be smiling so big right now ??", and her friend writing, "can't wait to hold him again... what a special gift you have brought into this world? & what an amazing mom you will be?"
