Lainey Wilson is having an incredible year. It all started in February, when she kicked off her Whirlwind World Tour. Around the same time, she was nominated for three Grammy Awards, although she fell short in all three categories. Then, just weeks ago, it was announced that Wilson will be making an appearance on the hit Netflix sitcom Leanne.

However, there's still one thing Wilson is looking to accomplish as we move into the final quarter of 2026: she wants to get her booty back.
Wilson's comments came during an interview with Leanne, in which the duo rode around in a golf cart.
"You've got the cutest figure. and I know we're in Hollywood and everybody's weird out here to say... but I hope you receive that, as a 60-year-old woman," Leanne told Wilson.
Wilson then responded by noting that she's back to doing squats as she tries to rebuild her booty.
"I receive it," Wilson said. "I've been doing them squats, trying to get my booty back. It went away."
Long-time Lainey Wilson fans will remember that when she initially burst into the mainstream back in 2019, she went viral for her derriere. Clearly, Wilson is aiming to get back to her 2019 figure. Of course, that means she's going to be hitting the squat machine with ferocity in the coming months.
Lainey Wilson Will Be Joined by Other Country Stars on Leanne
Wilson will play a character named Jessie in episode 209 of Leanne, per The Hollywood Reporter. This will be her first-ever comedy role. Fortunately for Wilson, she isn't the only big name who has been cast as a cameo star.
Jaime Pressly, Billy Gardell, and Tyne Daly will all make appearances throughout the second season of the Netflix hit. Of course, for most of us, Wilson's debut episode will be the one we all have circled on our calendars.
Depending on how well Wilson's acting skills are received, this might not be the last time we see her making an appearance on our television screens. After all, there's always room for a superstar musician to add acting credits to their name. Only time will tell whether that becomes the case for Wilson.
