Everyone who was on the bus is safe and uninjured.
Lady Antebellum's Hillary Scott is safe after her tour bus caught on fire on the way to the Academy of Country Music Awards in Arlington, Texas on Thursday morning (April 16). The bus caught fire on Interstate-30 in Garland, Texas after a tire blew out. Scott, her husband, her tour manager, and bus driver were on board.
Scott posted a photo on Instagram to ensure fans everyone on the bus was safe after evacuating quickly. "EVERYONE IS SAFE AND SOUND," wrote the singer.
Scott's bandmates, Charles Kelly and Dave Haywood, were not on the bus. According to KXAS, publicist Mary Hilliard said it was not Scott's usual tour bus. KXAS also reported it would take three to four hours to clear the interstate, as of 9:45 a.m. CT.
Lady Antebellum is set to perform on the 50th Academy of Country Music Awards this Sunday at AT&T Stadium.
