Lady Antebellum’s Charles Kelley Announces Solo Tour Dates

Lady Antebellum‘s Charles Kelley is hitting the road for the first time as a solo artist. After releasing his first single “The Driver” last week, he’s plotted a full national tour that will begin in November.

The 22-city tour will hit small clubs and theaters, which will provide a very different backdrop than the stadiums Kelley has recently played alongside his Lady Antebellum bandmates. This intimate setting will allow Kelley to gauge his audiences’ reactions to his mostly unheard new music.

“It’s gonna be fun to watch the fans hear a song they haven’t heard before, because the project won’t come out until early next year,” Kelley told Rolling Stone Country. “So I go out there almost like we did with Lady Antebellum, with just one single on the radio, and have to prove myself. I miss that.”

He won’t be traveling through this uncharted territory alone. Kelley has recruited support from Sony Music Nashville newly-signed artist Maren Morris, a singer-songwriter who has been acquiring buzz after the online release of her self-titled EP earlier this year. The smart pairing should supply a performance full of killer new music that teeters on the line between alt-rock and country.

Tickets for all venues will go on sale Friday, October 16th through Charles Kelley’s official website. A full list of dates is as follows:
