Lady A Shares Haunting Song Recorded Just 1 Week Before Charles Kelley's Cancer Diagnosis

Sometimes things just come together in astonishing ways. Call it serendipity, fate, destiny, coincidence, or happenstance. A perfect example is the song that beloved country trio Lady A recorded only one week before Charles Kelley was diagnosed with multiple myeloma, a blood cancer, per People. The lyrics of that track eerily seem to apply to his situation.

"Bigger Picture" Focuses on Hope and Faith Amidst Reversals and Sadness

The group posted a message on Instagram about their lovely, heartfelt song, "Bigger Picture." The lyrics touch on all kinds of pain and tragedy - a messy divorce, an alarming cancer recurrence after remission, the excruciating experience of a miscarriage. The point is that maybe, despite the awful heartbreak, a higher power has a plan for us. A plan that maybe has not been revealed to us yet.

The three also posted a video of them singing "Bigger Picture." Charles Kelley and Dave Haywood are sitting side by side on a sofa. Hillary Scott is on the floor in front of them. Haywood is strumming a guitar. Their vocals blend sweetly, yet pack an enormous emotional and spiritual punch.

"God's Timing...Is Truly Carrying Us Right Now...."

Lady A wrote, "The day before we went into the studio to finish up our next record, this song was sent to Hillary. We cut it the next day and then, a week later, we learned of Charles' cancer diagnosis. God's timing in allowing this song to find us and the message behind it is truly carrying us right now and we can't help but think some of y'all might need to hear it too. We trust there's a bigger picture."

The Song Resonated With Fans

Many left enthusiastic remarks in the Instagram comments section. People were deeply moved by "Bigger Picture" and its sincere message of belief and resilience.

One eloquently wrote, "This post hits every heart beat. Choosing to see the bigger picture is hard some days but choosing to see and look up is the only option in this earthy world. Suffering is still hard to reconcile. Surrounding yourself with positivity and God's light helps immensely. May you feel his peace and an abundance of love as you walk through this healing journey. Thank you for sharing this beautifully timed song."

Another offered this. "Chills....literally gave me chills wow that is such a perfect example of Gods timing! many prayers lifted up to you all"

From someone else came the following. "This song could not be truer. In every season of grief this truth carries. Thank you"
