Kip Moore has shared his honest opinions on social media, and I have to say I agree with them.

Fans of the singer may know that the country artist isn't too fond of social media, considering he never really uses it. And that's simply because he doesn't really agree with it, or understand it.
To talk about his latest album release, Solitary Tracks, Kip Moore sat down with Evan Paul on Taste of Country Nights. He didn't just talk about his 23-track record, however, as the pair moved onto social media.
The host asked Moore about what's going on in his personal life. As he never updates his socials, it's hard for fans to keep up with his life and developments. That's by design, however.
"People that are close to me know all about my personal life," he explained. I mean, they are really the only people your personal pertains to.
"But I'm not that person that's gonna wake up and make a post for people I don't even know to pat me on the back and say, 'Aww, what a sweet gift you gave so-and-so,' and, 'Oh, what a nice thing to say about this person i don't even know."
Quite frankly, Kip Moore doesn't want to engage in social media much. And it's understandable.
Kip Moore Points Out How Absurd Social Media Is
The country singer is quick to analogize how strange social media really is.
"I still don't get down with the world of social media and thinking it's normal," he continued. "If you would have woke up in the morning, back in 2005, and taken a Polaroid of yourself, and then mailed it to a ton of people that you don't even know. I'd be like, 'What the hell is this right here?"
"That's essentially what we're doing," he added. "I just think it's all silly."
I personally am never one to use social media. If I am to make a post, it's because it's something I want to tell all my friends and family, but can't be bothered to update them individually. If you are so famous, however, you can't really have that sort of online privacy.
So, considering just how many strangers have access to his socials, it's no wonder he stays away from it.
