Kip Moore has been giving fans a teaser of his new music while on the road. During his opening set for Miranda Lambert's Keeper of the Flame tour in Jacksonville, Fla., he performed his brand new ballad, "Last Shot."
Moore is best known for his gritty vocals and fun but sexy lyrics. That style comes through once more in his new track, which seductively compares his feelings for a woman to a shot of whiskey. Although that doesn't sound like the sweetest way of showing your admiration, he manages to mold the premise into an adequately sweet love song.
During this tour, Moore has been performing with a more stripped-down setup than usual. Although his punchy, electric guitar driven songs are great, it's nice to hear his vocals come to the forefront of his performances.
He recently revealed that he has three separate projects already completed, but it's unclear if or when those will be released. Until then, fans can catch Moore out on the road with Lambert through the end of September. After that, he'll team up with Jon Pardi for their co-headlining Me and My Kind Tour, with dates spanning through December.
