For all you Yellowstone fans wanting to see Kevin Costner live before the upcoming fourth season, now is your chance! Kevin Costner and Modern West, the superstar's country music band, are hitting the road on tour later this summer. Costner himself revealed the news this week on social media, explaining that he and the band would be playing all of their songs from their album Tales From Yellowstone.

The album was released in 2020 by Costner and his band, who have been actively playing together since 2007. If the title didn't already give it away, it's inspired by his character on Yellowstone, John Dutton.
"It's really a concept record," Costner told American Songwriter. "Sometimes there are songs that aren't really necessarily about John Dutton. I have my own muse when I'm away from home, for when I'm making a movie, and there are songs that kind of blend in and also complement what's happening."
Certain songs on the album came from Costner's real-life experiences and were a collaboration with his bandmates, but there are certain songs that are specifically about John Dutton, like "Won't Stop Loving You," which is about Dutton losing his wife.
"It begins to sum up how he feels," explained Costner. "This man is about the land. And when you share the land with your partner, every place you ever go, you see her on it. He's a man going forward, but you never forget that moment; it's immovable. I didn't have to look any further than my own life to find what was the strength of it for me."
