Kenny Chesney fans won't have to wait much longer for new music from the country star.
On July 27, the Tennessee native will release Songs for the Saints, a brand new album co-produced with Buddy Cannon.
Chesney says that the record was partially inspired by the devastation that Hurricane Irma left on his adopted home in the islands.
"I was at a turning point in my life on so many levels, and then Hurricane Irma hit the Virgin Islands," he said in a press release. "But this album isn't about St. John, so much as it's about what happened to St. John and all those islands you didn't see on the news. To just see the devastation and what that does to people is one thing, but then there's this courage and resilience people find..."

The new record will feature 12 songs, including his latest single, "Get Along." Fans will also be able to catch Chesney on the road with his Trip Around the Sun Tour through the rest of 2018.
