Kenny Chesney Offers Surprise Revelation About Performing at the Las Vegas Sphere

Kenny Chesney made a surprise revelation about The Sphere during an appearance on Rob Lowe's podcast earlier this week.

The Las Vegas Sphere is an experience. So much so that it can be overwhelming at times. And, if you don't believe us, maybe you will be Kenny Chesney. The country music superstar became the first artist from the genre to headline the Las Vegas venue last summer.

During a recent appearance on the Literally! With Rob Lowe podcast, Chesney revealed that he became so overwhelmed while on stage that he forgot what song he was singing.

"The first night I went on stage, I was almost distracted. Because I'm up here, we're playing and doing the show, and there's an audience in front of us. And I'm used to the stuff going on behind me, but up here (above me) and in front of me and over here in your peripheral... It's so visual."

Chesney continued: "There were two moments in the show during songs that I wrote that I was so distracted that I was completely lost in the middle of my own song. I forgot the words, I admitted it to the audience, and I went, 'Okay help me, because I'm lost. I'm looking at all this stuff.'"

The Sphere is designed to be an immersive experience. The visuals and screens behind the stage create an in-depth musical relationship with the audience. However, with so much going on around you and a horde of expecting fans, it's easy to see how the situation could become distracting.

Kenny Chesney Recently Shared Some Interesting Health Habits

During the same podcast interview, Chesney dove into his health and fitness routines. The country star even joked that he "does a lot of witchcraft stuff" to his body.

"Cold plunge, heat and ice. I do a lot of IV stuff. I do plasma exchange," Chesney said. "It's really great for you."

In fairness, none of that stuff sounds too far out of the box. And, if it's working for Chesney, then who are we to judge? As long as he's happy and not hurting anyone in the process, his "witchcraft" health practices shouldn't be an issue. In fact, maybe we should be asking for tips, considering that he's in pretty good shape.

However, we should probably avoid asking him just before or just after he's been on stage at the Sphere.
