It's been a wild and undoubtedly satisfying ride for country music star Kenny Chesney lately. He released a candid memoir, Heart Life Music. Chesney also received the honor of a lifetime last fall when he was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame. Now, he is evidently pondering some big changes to his upcoming shows at the Sphere in Las Vegas. The "She Thinks My Tractor's Sexy" singer, 57, will be performing at the venue on June 19, 20, 24, 26, and 27, 2016.

Chesney's Next Sphere Stint Won't Be Exactly Like the Previous One
Country music artists care a lot about their concerts. They want the audience to have fun while they take in the songs and the performance. Ideally, a show should make a statement about who that person is as a person and as a vocalist. Loads of thought and planning go into each concert long before a singer steps on stage. So it's no surprise that Kenny Chesney is already creating the groundwork for his Sphere shows this summer. It's a good bet that they will not be like the ones he gave last year. No Shoes Nation, get ready!
Per Country Now, it sounds as though the unique venue helped Chesney explore his singing and storytelling prowess in a new manner. He shared, "Sphere pulled me into so many songs the fans know and love in new ways. And it deepened how I see them. The production possibilities consume you, so we had to go back to really get everything out of it."
He Praised the Vegas Venue's "Intimacy"
He continued, "But it's not just how big or bold it is. Sphere's layout creates this intimacy that lets me do songs I can't play in a stadium, songs we love, songs I haven't played in forever - so the ability to slow the tempo down lets us take this year's show into some places we just can't, even pull things out just because. The band and I are talking about it - and figuring out what songs we want to add."
Although Chesney's 2026 Sphere shows are still a work in progress, he did spill this much. "It's too soon to know just what we're going to do. But I promise no song's been left unturned." He's really eager to be there again. Like the true country music legend he is, Kenny Chesney wants to go beyond the boundaries for his next effort at the Sphere. "I wanted to get back in there and really push what was possible."
