Country sweetheart Kelsea Ballerini impressed her nationwide fans yet again with a cover of Tim McGraw's "Humble and Kind" recently on the Bobby Bones Show. Her acoustic version of the hit song is raw, emotional and will probably leave you with goosebumps. It's that good.
Kelsea's appearance was part of Bobby Bones' "Music Is Therapy" day, which was prompted by the horrific shooting in Orlando earlier this summer.
"Music is therapy. any of my artist friends. let me know if you want to come by and play a song tomorrow morning" Bones posted on Twitter. Cam, Brandy Clark, Lindsay Ell and Dan + Shay also gladly participated alongside Kelsea.
It isn't easy to do a superstar's song justice while singing cover tunes. However, Kelsea totally nailed this McGraw cover. Check it out below.
Ballerini's soothing vocals solidify the notion that music is a form of therapy. After her performance, the Bobby Bones Show remarked that Kelsea "totally crushed" the cover and we couldn't agree more.
According to iHeart Radio, Bones also sent all proceeds of his clothing to Orlando victims' families that week. Kelsea showed her support by rockin' a #PimpinJoy shirt during her performance. It's great the country music industry always stepping up in big ways to support communities in need.
