In an interview with the US Sun published on Sunday (October 11), the reality star revealed that she has gained 30 pounds since her father passed away in July 2025. This comes after she surprised fans with her dramatic weight loss during a red carpet appearance at the 2026 BRIT Awards last February. She admitted that she did not realize how drastic the weight loss was until she saw the pictures.

" I didn't know that I looked like that until I saw the pictures," she said to the outlet. "When I saw them, I couldn't f—ing believe it. I was as shocked as everyone else."

Kelly Opens Up About Struggles With Weight After Ozzy's Death

Osbourne clarified that she wasn't dealing with an eating disorder. But coping with her father's death made it difficult for her to "do anything for [herself]". And that eating made her feel like she wanted to "throw up."

"It felt like everything inside me was dead, and I didn't want my son [Sidney, 3] to see me like this," she added.

"I went to my dad's grave with a white candle, and I wrote a wish on it saying, 'Please help me.'"

The help she was seeking actually came from her mother,

Sharon Osbourne, who introduced her to Chris Miller. A therapist and life coach who Kelly Credits with saving her life.

Now she is handling the loss much better. And says that she sees the grief as an "honor" because she has "truly loved someone that much."

Osbourne previously appeared on Paul C. Brunson's "We Need to Talk" podcast. She recalled how the late rock star had a conversation with her three days before his death for an in-depth conversation about how much he loved her.

"'No matter what happens in this life, you can live the rest of your life knowing there was one man on this planet that truly loved you. That truly loved you for every single thing that you are. And that one man is me,'" she recalled him saying.

Kelly also added that the conversation between her and her dad made the reality of losing him much more painful. And even though it was a conversation that she did not want to have, Ozzy knew that it was a conversation that he needed to have with his daughter. Because, in his words, he wasn't going to be around forever.

Osbourne was 76 when he passed away in July 2025.
