Kelly Osbourne, daughter of the late heavy metal icon Ozzy Osburne and his wife, Sharon, has had run-ins with internet trolls shaming her for her weight in the past. Unfortunately, she is again plagued by people who think they have the right to comment unkindly on how she looks. Osbourne was clad elegantly in a black gown, her blonde hair perfectly coiffed in a chic bob. Her makeup was Hollywood-ideal. But she did seem extremely slender, prompting the deluge of harsh, thoughtless remarks. Outraged, Osbourne shredded her critics on social media. Things have hit such an ugly flashpoint that Osbourne claims she feels "dehumanized" by the controversy about her slimmed-down physique.
Osbourne Wrote a Stinging Rebuke
Obviously angry, Osbourne, 41, wrote on her Instagram Stories, "There is a special kind of cruelty in harming someone who is clearly going through something. Kicking me while I'm down, doubting my pain, spreading my struggles as gossip, and turning your back when I need support and love most. None of it proves strength; it only reveals a profound absence of compassion and character."
She added, "I'm currently going trough the hardest time in my life. I should not even have to defend my- self. But I won't sit here and allow myself to be dehumanized in such a way!"

When she referred to "the hardest time in my life," Osbourne meant the death of her dad. Ozzy Osbourne. He passed away on July 22 last year. Ozzy was 76 years old. The acclaimed rocker's death was a huge blow to his family. Kelly Osbourne is hurting because of the tragic loss she and her loved ones must face. Ozzy was a beloved figure, not only in the music world, but to those closest to him. Leaning to cope without someone so important takes time.
