TMZ reported the split. This news comes at an incredibly difficult time for Osbourne. The reality star and daughter of heavy metal legend Ozzy has been dealing with the loss of her father, who died in July 2025.
Why Did Kelly Osbourne and Sid Wilson Break Up?
Wilson, a keyboardist with the nu-metal band Slipknot and a touring DJ under the name DJ Starscream, proposed to Osbourne during her father's final show with Black Sabbath last year. Before becoming an item, they were friends for decades, having met in 1999 at the touring metal festival Ozzfest, which her parents founded.
Neither Osbourne nor Wilson has publicly confirmed the split. Reports indicate their relationship had been turbulent for some time prior to the breakup, which is said to have occurred earlier this month, suggesting the split was not sudden.
"They tried to make it work, particularly for the sake of their child, but ultimately decided that separating is the best path forward," said a source. "Kelly has endured a great deal over the past year. Despite everything, she remains sober and is now focusing on herself and her role as a mother moving ahead."
It's Been a Tough Few Months for Osbourne
The challenges for Osbourne continued last month when she and her mother accepted a lifetime achievement award on Ozzy's behalf at the BRIT Awards in Manchester, England. Dressed in a black gown that showcased her slimmed-down physique, she faced harsh comments about her appearance.
"There is a special kind of cruelty in harming someone who is clearly going through something," she wrote on Instagram. "Kicking me while I'm down, doubting my pain, spreading my struggles as gossip, and turning your back when I need support and love most. None of it proves strength; it only reveals a profound absence of compassion and character."
She added, "I'm currently going through the hardest time in my life. I should not even have to defend myself. But I won't sit here and allow myself to be dehumanized in such a way!"
