Keith Urban and Vince Gill are headed to Bridgestone Arena once again to host the All For The Hall concert on April 12th. The star-studded event is the sixth annual installment all meant to benefit the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum.
Urban, apparently very excited, unveiled the concert’s theme in a statement:
“Nashville has become a dynamic and diverse musical melting pot. While it remains the home of country music, an unbelievably talented community of songwriters, producers, instrumentalists, singers, bands and solo artists are rapidly changing the entire musical landscape in ‘Music City U.S.A.’ Our sixth All For The Hall event— ‘Mashville: The Music City in 2016’—will celebrate that!!!!”
The entire benefit started in 2009 when Urban and Gill teamed up to host the first All For The Hall. Five consecutive years of concerts have netted more than $2.6 million for the Country Music Hall of Fame, which goes towards preserving and sharing the history of country music.
In a particularly cool twist, a group of Middle Tennessee students will join Urban and Gill onstage this year to debut a song they’re writing specifically for the event — which they’ll write alongside a professional songwriter provided by the Country Hall of Fame’s education program, Words & Music.
Tickets for the event, including VIP packages, go on sale Friday, Jan. 29. Reserved seating tickets are $35 and $55.
