Keith Urban showed off his impressive banjo skills at Nashville's Ryman Auditorium last week.
Keith Urban's invitation-only show was part of the 2105 Country Radio Seminar. During the show, Urban pulled out his six-string banjo and a drum machine he purchased in 1995, and explained that he does the bulk of his songwriting on the two instruments.
"These two love each other. They were like long-lost friends. It doesn't matter what the song is, it just seems to work better with a banjo," Urban told the audience.
Urban then launched into a stripped down version of his hit song "Somebody Like You," which you can watch in the video above.
Later in the show, Urban invited six audience members on stage to participate in a mini singing competition for his song "Kiss a Girl."
