Keith Urban and Little Big Town Tapped for ‘Stand Up to Cancer’ Telethon

Keith Urban and Little Big Town will perform a set of musical tributes during the upcoming Stand Up to Cancer Telethon event.

The country stars are set to perform in honor of those currently fighting and others have lost their lives to cancer. They’ll join pop superstar Celine Dion, whose husband passed away after a long battle with cancer earlier this year. More details about their individual performances are expected to be released in the coming weeks.

The telecast, produced by Academy Award-nominated actor Bradley Cooper, will include appearances from an array of stars, including Ben Affleck, Matthew McConaughey, Emma Stone, Anna Kendrick, Josh Gad, Niecy Nash, Eric Stonestreet, Alison Sweeney, Ken Jeong, Marcia Cross, Greg Grunberg, Danielle Campbell, Charlie Wilson, Brittany Daniel and SU2C Co-Founder Katie Couric.

Fans who watch the telethon are encouraged to use the #Reasons2StandUp hashtag to support those fighting the disease.

The Stand Up to Cancer Telethon will take place in Music Center’s Walt Disney Concert Hall in downtown Los Angeles on Friday, Sept. 9. The telecast will air live at 8 p.m. ET on over a dozen cable channels. You can find out more information about the event and where to watch it here.
