FBI Director Kash Patel and his girlfriend, country singer Alexis Wilkins, have been a prominent couple for quite a while. They have just announced that they are going to be walking down the aisle. Wilkins posted a casual pic of the two looking cozy on X. It showed off her engagement ring with the caption, "Went and got the law involved." That statement is followed by a ring emoji and a heart emoji. Congrats!
The lovebirds reportedly first crossed paths four years ago in Nashville. They have dated since 2023. Wilkins apparently holds largely conservative-leaning views.
Some People Have Carped About Their Relationship and Questioned Her Motives
Wilkins is highly aware if the sniping that her romantic connection to Kash Patel has caused. She dismisses it brusquely. When she was a guest months ago in July on
"I think people see certain pieces and I get it," Alexis Wilkins frankly acknowledged. "They want to connect things, they want to justify, some of the pain that they've been through watching the last four years, and there's pieces of this that, you know, I can understand."
Per The New York Post, some have even come up with bizarre, outlandish theories about Wilkins' identity. They have allegedly speculated that the Arkansas-raised singer was a Mossad agent intended to compromise Patel, 45, and at least one of them misidentified her as Jewish."
Wilkins added, "I think that they've taken just these pieces of evidence that you laid out and tie them together in all of the wrong ways."
Patel Has Also Taken Some Heat
The Post pointed out that some Congressional Democrats took Patel to task. They claimed that he was using a private plane to go to sports events and to hang out with Wilkins. In fact, he has insisted "that he's legally restricted from flying commercial."
On The Katie Miller Podcast back in December, Kash Patel emphasized, "[We] pay for our personal travel, which we do, like all members of the Cabinet and other agency heads do." Miller is the wife of Stephen Miller, who is White House deputy chief of staff for policy.
