Kane Brown and his wife Katelyn Jae picked the perfect name for their first child and the future queen of the house: Kingsley.
"Officially announcing our baby's name! Kingsley, can't wait for you to be here!!!," wrote Brown in an Instagram post from yesterday (Aug. 14). "Thank you Jason Aldean and Brittany Aldean for throwing us this awesome baby shower. Love you guys!!!"
Jae posted the same photo, which shows her holding a giant purple balloon that says "Kingsley," and offered more thanks to the Aldean family for its hospitality.
The Brown family announced the pregnancy on April 15 via an ultrasound picture.
Entertainment Tonight chatted with Brown at June's CMT Music Awards about his expectations as a first-time dad. "I'm going to be very protective, but I'm going to let her do her own thing," Brown told ET. "I just hope she plays basketball, that's all I want. Basketball or softball, some kind of sport, all I'm hoping for."
The happy couple married in October of last year at Mint Springs Farm in Franklin, Tennessee. According to People, Brown proposed to Jae, a singer and music management student, on Easter Sunday in 2017. Jae is featured in the country singer's music video for "What's Mine is Yours."
