Kacey Musgraves had a pretty great time across the pond. The “Follow Your Arrow” singer took to Instagram on Nov. 18th to show off a number of photos and videos from her sold-out performance at London’s Royal Albert Hall.
Ahead of the big show, Musgraves showed off a photo of herself and her band striking a pose outside the iconic venue.
As she looked right at home playing her huge hits, including “Biscuits” and “Merry Go Round”, on the London stage, according to The Guardian, Musgraves actually felt a little out of place in her surroundings.
She allegedly told the crowd during the show: “This is the fanciest place I’ve ever been to,” joking, “How did they let me in?”
Following the sold out performance, Musgraves then shared another photo from the show, where she revealed that she actually performed to more people than live in her hometown of Golden, Texas.
“Cannot believe we played to a crowd the size of my hometown tonight. I’ll never get over it,” Musgraves, who became the first country star to sell out the venue since Carrie Underwood in 2012, captioned the photo.
But her big show was actually just the icing on the cake of the singer’s exciting British adventure, which also saw her play shows in Glasgow, Scotland, and Birmingham and Manchester in England.
Earlier in the week, the two-time Grammy winner met up with royalty when she performed at prestigious Royal Variety Performance, where she even gave Prince Harry a high 5.
“When Texas meets Royalty,” Musgraves captioned the photo of herself and the prince, alongside the hashtags “#casual,” “#highfives” and “#idontknowtherules.”
