Kacey Musgraves 4/20 Show in Denver Sells Out

It’s almost “High Time” for the city of Denver as they gear up for a sold-out show by Kacey Musgraves on April 20.

The event will be held at the Bluebird Theater on what has long been known as an unofficial smokers holiday. With Colorado being the only state to legalize marijuana, it seems unlikely Musgrave’s scheduled the Denver show by coincidence.

She announced the show on her Facebook page the beginning of the month and it sold out shortly after. The announcement was soundtracked by “High Time,” a song off of her 2015 Pageant Material album.

To add to the excitement fans can purchase “It’s High Time” t-shirts from her online store. All purchases come with a little something extra, hemp rolling paper.

Musgraves is well-known for her off-color lyrics and suggestive references to the substance such as in her CMA award winning song “Follow Your Arrow.”

In preparation for the sold-out show Musgraves will return to Nashville to play a special show at Tin Pan South with songwriters Shane McAnally and Josh Osborne on April 9.

She’ll make stops in Charlotte, NC, Austin, TX and at Zac Brown Band’s Southern Ground & Food Festival in Charleston, SC on April 17 before she lands in Denver for what is sure to be a blazing good time.
