Justin Timberlake and Garth Brooks Sing 'Friends in Low Places'

Watch the two great entertainers share the stage in Nashville.

During his show at the Bridgestone Arena last December, Justin Timberlake surprised the audience when he brought out the acoustic for a rendition of the Garth Brooks classic "Friends in Low Places."

After finishing the first chorus, Timberlake stopped the show and brought out Brooks himself to help him finish the song -- to which the audience's female members let out a collective, high-pitched "OH MY GOD!!!"

While Timberlake's vocals lack the twang and spirit that helped make the song such a classic, he did do an impressive job at covering the song -- begging the question: is Timberlake going country?

Not likely. Although, several artists outside of country music, such as Steven Tyler of Aerosmith, have country projects in the works, as the format is proving to be a cash cow for both legacy and contemporary pop/rock artists.

But forget all that for now. Instead, watch these two masterful performers do what they do best: entertain.

Warning: Timberlake does a little bit of cussin' at the beginning of the video.
