Ever since Julia Roberts starred in Pretty Woman, she's been one of the biggest stars in Hollywood. She's been an A-list actress for decades, is an Oscar winner for her performance in Erin Brockovich, and somehow also manages to have a happy and fairly normal family life...as far as celebrities go. The movie star has been happily married to her husband Danny Moder, since 2002, and the couple shares three children together — twins Hazel and Phinnaeus (Finn) and youngest son Henry.
Despite being such a high profile actress, Roberts keeps her family life fairly private. Though we've definitely seen cameraman Daniel Moder accompany his longtime love on red carpets to everything from the Academy Awards to the Golden Globes, she doesn't flaunt her children around for the world to see. They have private profiles on social media and there are very few photos of them shared, mostly from Moder's account which has 30k+ followers compared to his wife's 9 million. Makes sense.
Though the family is somewhat unrelatable in the sense that they have multiple homes in Los Angeles, New York City, and Hawaii, they actually prefer to spend most of their time at their massive ranch in Taos, New Mexico.
Roberts and Moder were actually married on the ranch on the fourth of July 2002, which the actress has owned since the 90s. According to Taos News, she purchased "30-plus acres in Arroyo Seco."
In an interview with Oprah for Harper's Bazaar, Roberts explained that her children really had no idea that she was famous until they started getting older and asked her about it.
"I don't think they will ever have a true sense of [my fame]," said Roberts. "I think I told you once when they were starting to figure it out, it was like, 'You're famous?' And I said, 'I think a lot of people might have seen the movie that I'm in or might know who I am.' Maybe an hour goes by. [Then they ask,] 'Are you more famous than Taylor Swift?' "
While we don't get very many pics of the whole family together, Moder shared this sweet post for Mother's Day that featured an adorable family photo of The Mexican star surrounded by her husband and three children.
In a rare photo (presumably) of the ranch, the Eat Pray Love star went full cowboy in an Instagram post on her 52nd birthday. "52. Yeehaw." Someone put this woman in a western film ASAP!
