Jon Pardi Gets Engaged to Girlfriend Summer Duncan During Ryman Show

Country singer Jon Pardi closed out his two-night stay at the Ryman Auditorium on Wednesday night in a grandiose way: proposing to his girlfriend Summer Duncan in front of a packed crowd that gave true love a standing ovation.

The two Nashville appearances (Oct. 1-2)  kicked off Pardi's headlining Heartache Medication Tour. The California native is fresh off the Sept. 27 release of his third studio album, Heartache Medication.

Dierks Bentley took to social media offering congratulations to the happy couple.

"My man! @jonpardipics crushing the @theryman stage and crushing life... so proud of you pal. Killer show with my all time fav encore," Bentley wrote. "Congrats to you and @summerfawn_duncan."

Pardi recently praised his new fiancee to Entertainment Tonight.

"Life with Summer is awesome... When it comes to singing about losing her, it's a big no for me," he says. "I definitely want to make her happy."

From the sound of things, love has grounded the country music superstar as a performer, songwriter and person.

"I've had my fair share of crazy girlfriends," he joked to ET. "So it's nice to be in a totally sustainable relationship... I mean, I still do dumb [things], I'm a guy, but for the most part, I've got to pat myself on the back. I've been a good boyfriend and it's nice to really work to make somebody feel loved and feel happy... she's worth it."

Pardi's tour continues through a Nov. 2 home state show at California's most famous country music hotbed, Bakersfield.
