Fans of the Beach Boys - and who isn't? - listen up. There seems to be some key changes in the works, at least for now. Per People, the beloved band has apparently scrapped its plans to perform at the Eat to the Beat Concert Series at EPCOT next month. Instead, their pal, John Stamos, and his group, the California Sound, will reportedly appear in their place. The key issue seems to be the health of Beach Boys member Mike Love, 85.

The outlet mentioned, "Though it has not been confirmed, John Stamos and the California Sound is likely the Beach Boys' touring band without Love." Furthermore, "The Beach Boys are still scheduled to play the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in November, as well as the River Cree Resort and Casino in May 2027."
Stamos Issued a Statement About Love's "Serious Health Challenges" on October 11
Concern about Love's medical status surfaced after people saw an Instagram post that John Stamos wrote about him on October 11. It said in part, "I'm boarding a plane to Nashville to play with the Beach Boys at the Ryman Auditorium, struggling to put my feelings into words. My beloved friend, father figure, musical hero and mentor, Mike Love, is facing serious health challenges. We hope he'll be doing what he loves for years to come, but we don't know what the future holds. We have tonight."
Stamos added, "Mike is a fighter. Despite doctors, family and friends urging him to focus on his health, he insists on being on stage. He says he needs his band, the audience, his friends and drummer surrounding him to lift him up."
Love's vulnerability clearly unsettled Stamos. "I've played with Mike for 41 years. I never imagined how deeply it would affect me to see someone larger than life face something so human and fragile."
Being Friends With Love Means the World to Stamos
The former Full House star obviously treasures his relationship with Love. "Mike didn't just give me a place in his band. He gave me a place in his life."
Stamos did not get specific about Love's "health challenges." At the Ryman, Love himself said per People, "Obviously I've been going through some health issues for quite a while. But I didn't want to miss being at the Ryman with y'all."
