Yesterday morning John Anderson's official Facebook page shared the news that the country singer is now on the mend after being laid up with a mysterious medical condition last week.
On Tuesday, a member of his camp posted an update on his Facebook page.
Fans of the "Seminole Wind" singer were disappointed on Aug. 1 when his publicist shared the news that Anderson wouldn't be able to perform at the Ala. Main Street Music Festival due to health concerns.
The statement did not make it clear what issues he was suffering.
"He will remain, for the time being, under the direct care and supervision of a Nashville area doctor," the statement read. "John is deeply saddened to not be able to perform for his friends in Alabama, and hopeful he will begin healing soon."
The statement went on to clarify that he would not be performing until after August 12.
