Joe Rogan Doubles Down on His Political Stance in Recent Podcast

To the uninitiated, it's easy to assume Joe Rogan is a trademark conservative. He proudly advocates for Donald Trump and you could see him on full display during the president's inauguration. Oftentimes, you're a reflection of the company you keep. If that's true, Rogan would definitely seem like a republican. However, now, he's setting the record straight on where he lies on the spectrum.

Recently, Joe sat down for an episode of his podcast with educator Warren Smith. There, he dishes on his political views now that the election and inauguration is all said and done. "It doesn't make sense to be on a team. I don't consider myself a republican, I don't consider myself a democrat either. I consider myself an American. I'm a human being. There's a lot of things that the democrats believe that I believe too. There's a lot of things that they say that I say, 'That makes a lot of sense to me,'" Rogan says.

Joe Rogan Insists He Doesn't Identify as a Democrat or Republican

Joe continues, trying to position himself in a state of political neutrality. Ultimately, he wants to cut through the neck and neck competition between the two parties and try to sort through what's best for Americans. "There's a lot of things that the republicans say (that make me say), 'That makes a lot of sense to me too.' The idea that I have to ignore things that make sense to me because its coming from the wrong team is just stupid," Joe Rogan says. "These are bad faith arguments where you have to have a conversation and pretend what they're saying is not logical because they're supposed to be your opponent."

This seems a little convenient now that his preferred man won the U.S. presidency. This isn't the first time Joe has set the record straight before either. Back in November, he reminds his audience that he didn't always ride for Donald Trump. "Just because of my appearance, there's always been this assumption that I'm some right-wing MAGA guy. I was a Bernie supporter. I'm a politically homeless person, for sure," Rogan states.
