Joe Rogan hosts one of the world's top podcasts. The UFC commentator has been a major player in the podcasting space for years. He's interviewed experts across a wealth of subject matters. However, one interview appears to have stuck with Rogan for all the wrong reasons.

During a recent episode of his "The Joe Rogan Experience" podcast, where he was interviewing physician Zach Bush, he recalled his time on the mic with Sheldon Johnson.
"We had a guy in the studio that cut a guy's head off after the podcast," Rogan recalled. "He killed a guy and cut his head off."
Rogan noted that Johnson had sat across from Johnson just weeks before the incident. Johnson had appeared on the show when Rogan was interviewing civil rights attorney Josh Dubin.
"He does the podcast and then afterward goes and visits this guy that apparently he had a beef with. He kills him, cuts his head off, puts him in a [suitcase]. Like, puts a wig on, and tries to escape in the hallway through the cameras," Rogan said, via The New York Post.
At the time of the interview, Johnson was working alongside Dubin as a criminal justice activist. However, he was arrested in 2024. The arrest came following the police discovering a dismembered body in a blue bin, and a head stored in a freezer. The discovery occurred in an apartment located in the Bronx, New York, belonging to Colin Small.
Police Discovered More Body Parts in Sheldon Johnson's Home
Following an investigation, the police zeroed in on Johnson. Upon searching his apartment, which was located in Harlem, they discovered a human arm, legs and a head with a gunshot wound, all stored in a freezer.
"Johnson was arrested and charged with murder, manslaughter, criminal possession of a weapon and concealment of a human corpse. He pleaded not guilty to the charges," The New York Post reports.
Since being incarcerated, Johnson, who once claimed to be a member of a notorious street gang, has sought to turn his life around. He's reportedly obtained his GED while behind bars.
Nevertheless, it's clear that Johnson's appearance on "The Joe Rogan Experience" is one that will stick with the UFC commentator for the rest of his life.
