In the new docuseries Before the End: Searching for Jim Morrison, former girlfriend Judy Huddleston opened up about her relationship with Morrison. She claimed that the singer sexually assaulted during their relationship

"I didn't want to do [it], and I totally said no," she said in Before the End via People. "And then he pinned my arms back and down and that's why I think — not excusing it, but I think he just went psycho."

Huddleston said that Morrison flipped on a dime. He went from calm and sweet to a raging maniac in a moment's notice. "His eyes were like a sweet blue, and he was sort of tender. And then they just... he looked like a possessed monster," she alleged. "I mean like, black dilated eyes and it was beyond anger. It was fury, it was rage."

Jim Morrison And Past Partners

The two were together for four years in the 1960s. They had met backstage at one of The Doors's concerts. It's not the first time that Huddleston has opened up about their relationship. She said that the singer never cared to be her official boyfriend.

"I certainly liked the idea of loving someone without being possessive or jealous," she said in a Medium interview in 2015. "Secretly, I thought I'd eventually win him over... I didn't understand the price I was paying, how advantageous it was for him... I feel more compassion for Jim than before — he seems so trapped. I don't see a viable way out for him."

Morrison would die in 1971 at the age of 27, becoming a part of the infamous 27 Club. At the time, he had moved away from The Doors and music. He was with his longtime girlfriend Pamela Courson in Paris, planning to focus on writing.

However, Courson later found Morrison deceased in the bathtub. It appeared that he died from a drug overdose. Previously, other partners detailed Morrison's abusive streak. Former girlfriend Pamela Des Barres said that he once slapped her across the face.

Doors bandmate John Densmore saw the frontman once pull a knife on a woman. Still, the allegations of sexual assault are tragic and disheartening, no matter how much time has passed.
